  Background

   Cambodian University for Specialties is one of the largest and leading private universities in Cambodia with its     Nine campuses nationwide - three in Phnom Penh, and other six branches are located in six different provinces.      Kampong Cham, Siem Reap, Battambang, Banteay Meanchey, Kamport and Kampong Thom. CUS is providing an opportunity to the Cambodian population to archieve excellence through our Educucation for an Excellent Career its pool of qualified human resources together with the modern equipment and facilities. The university offers different levels of education ranging from Associate, Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degrees as well as vocational training programs with varieties of specializations. The university continues to build its capacity and it intends to esatablish new branches and to open new faculties. 

ASSOCIATE DEGREE 

General Overview of the Progamme

The Associate Program comprises two academic years or four semesters for all faculties. The Associate Program generally consists of 72 credits. An examination is required for all courses at the end of each semester. Furthermore, those students are also requested to get final examination at the end of second semester of year two which is controlled and monitored by Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports.

Careers Opportunities

Students who have graduated from the Associate Program are able to apply for jobs in any private companies, NGOs, or in other governmental institutions. This specialized program enables them to work as clerk or staff, and with their gainful experiences, they will be able to be promoted to a further supervisory position. These students will have a chance to continue their bachelor degree, if they meet the program’s requirements after gaining their Associate Degree

Degree / Certificated Offered

CUS will offer each student an Associate Degree Certificate, only after their successful completion and graduation from the two-year program. With this degree, they will be able to either find their preferred job, or continue their third year bachelor degree if they meet some conditions required by the program. This degree is officially and fully recognized by Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

General Overview of the Progamme

The Bachelor Program is designed for students who wish to work in professional careers. The program is specially prepared with academic consistence in which many specialized subjects are taught after the foundation year (the first year of bachelor program).

Students who have graduated from the Bachelor Program are ready to work. Their capabilities depend on this specialization. For students who have already been working, and at the same time pursuing their bachelor degree, their learning within the classroom will allow them to integrate their theoretical and practical studies. This will motivate them to work harder both in the classroom and in their work place.

Curriculum Structure

The Bachelor Program comprises four academic years or eight semesters for bachelor of business administration, information technology, law, education, language and tourism, etc., but for bachelor of engineering or architecture, there are more requirements - it consists of four and half academic years or nine semesters. The whole program has 122 credits for four academic year and 150 credits for four and half academic years. The 1st year of Bachelor Program is Foundation Year Program, which is designed in compliance with the guidelines of Accreditation Committee of Cambodia. The program’s first semester consists of common courses, other core courses and oriented courses of different major fields are taught in the second semester. All students need to complete final project paper at the end of last semester of the program which shall be done in a group of 2 students. The students have to pass all semester examinations as well as the final examination at the end of the program which is controlled by Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia.
